How WideOrbit approaches voicetracking.
WideOrbit positions WO Automation for Radio for every operating model, from live assist to fully automated, and lists integration with MusicMaster and WO Traffic. Version 5.0 brought native Universal Radio Client apps for macOS, Windows, Linux, and iOS so talent could voice track without waiting on uploads and downloads.
In 2025 WideOrbit introduced AFR Web, which lets remote talent record voicetracks close to airtime from their own browser over HTTPS through a Mobile Gateway. WideOrbit frames direct connection to the automation system as the alternative to do-it-yourself FTP handoffs.
Group voicetracking, done carefully.
Group Voice Tracking organizes similarly formatted stations into groups. Talent can record one track for every station in a group or different tracks for some of them, and the content around the voicetrack does not have to match across stations. WideOrbit also describes recording a live spot into a voicetrack so it reconciles correctly in WO Traffic when it plays.
That flexibility is exactly where AI-assisted breaks need discipline. RoboJock writes against each station's log, so a group read is only shared when it genuinely fits every clock, and local references stay local.
Where RoboJock fits.
RoboJock delivers finished breaks with the details WideOrbit operators look for: category, cut, in and out marks, and the intended log position. Your team reviews and approves the read first, then the break is placed where the board op sees a finished element, not a loose file to fix.
The voice comes from a real radio professional's voicetracks. Talent and programmers keep the final say over wording, pronunciation, pace, and what goes to air.

- Agree on the voicetrack category and cut numbering range.
- Confirm how live-read or sponsored content should reconcile with WO Traffic.
- Run a pilot hour and audition transitions in the Voice Track widget.
